Writer's Guidelines for TWINS™ Magazine

We welcome your story pitches and ideas for editorial consideration for upcoming issues of TWINS™ Magazine.

  

For all story ideas and article submissions, contact our Editor-in-Chief via email with a concise pitch for your proposed article submission.   We will also accept complete articles for consideration as attachments in MS Word or a PDF.  Articles should not be longer than 1,000 words in length (unless first approved by Editor-in-Chief) and should be submitted single-spaced, Times New Roman, size 12.  Please also include a brief bio/byline and head shot image, along with any other images you would like to include with your article submission.  If your article is selected, all images used become the property of TWINS™ Magazine.

We are currently accepting story pitches, ideas and photos for the following columns and regular features:

A Word from Dad--This is a column that is written by dads of multiples and gives readers an idea of what it's like parenting twins/multiples from a father's point of view.

Double Takes--Submit your twins' photos for our popular Double Takes section that runs in each issue of TWINS™ Magazine and challenges readers to guess whether the twins are identical or fraternal.

Family Health--This column covers ongoing health issues and concerns regarding twins and multiples.

LOL-Laugh-Out-Loud--This is a humorous regular column that talks about what it's like raising twins/multiples in today's busy and hectic world while also giving our readers a reason to smile.  This is a slice-of-life column and should be written in a humorous and fun style.

Mailbox/Letters--Want to let us know what you like or don't like about the magazine?  Send us your letters and we may feature your email or letter in an upcoming Mailbox section of our magazine.  Don't forget to also submit a photo of you and your twins to be included with your letter.

Mom-2-Mom--Are you a mother of twins/multiples with great tips and advice?  Do you have a special story about raising twins that you would like to share?  Submit your story idea for our brand new Mom-2-Mom column.

Research Column--Do you have some research results and information that would be specific to twins and multiples?  Let us know by submitting your story idea for our ongoing Research column.

Resource Round Up--Are you a nonprofit organization or foundation that supports parents of twins and mulitples?  Does your organization provide help and resources for twin related causes?  If so, submit your information to be featured in our Resource Round Up.

Tales from Twins--Are you a twin and want to share your story with our readers?  Tell us what is was like growing up as a twin.

Twin Star Spotlight--Do you know or represent a rising set of twins in the entertainment field?  Contact Christa D. Reed, Editor-in-Chief to learn how you can have your 'twin stars' spotlighted in this regular feature.
